Privacy Policy
Last updated:
This is the official Shadowrocket website and manual. This policy explains how data is handled when you visit rocket-tips.com. It does not replace the privacy information shown in Shadowrocket or on the App Store. Reading tutorials and connecting through the app are separate activities; consult the relevant privacy information for each.
1. Scope and information you provide
This site provides static pages with guidance on verifying the genuine app, setup steps, and troubleshooting. It has no user registration, sign-in, email subscription, or online contact form, and does not ask visitors to submit their name, email address, or payment details. You can read the manual without creating a website account.
This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers or subscriptions. Obtain subscriptions from your service provider. A one-time client purchase is not a connection plan. Do not place subscription URLs, server passwords, access tokens, or screenshots containing this information in page links, URL parameters, or other locations that may be recorded in access logs.
2. Access logs and analytics
We use analytics to understand how visitors read and navigate the site. This may include pages visited, visit times, referring pages, and browser and device categories. The store information page also records when a visitor clicks the App Store button, to help us determine whether the link is easy to find. A click does not indicate that a purchase was completed.
Servers that deliver these pages may log IP addresses, request paths, response status codes, and technical information sent by your browser. These logs help deliver pages, diagnose errors, and maintain site security. Analytics are used to improve the manual and investigate access issues; they are not used to read app configurations or connection data.
Browsing this site does not give it access to your Shadowrocket subscription list, server credentials, or network request logs. The site also cannot learn your Apple Account, payment method, or complete purchase history through the App Store button. Avoid including personal information in referral links.
3. Cookies and local storage
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser and may be sent with requests. Local storage is read by page scripts within the current site. Depending on the analytics setup, analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish visits. You can check the data stored and its expiration in your browser’s site data settings.
This site has no account sign-in state to save. Language changes are handled through page URLs, while some section or tab states are retained in URL fragments. Browser-cached images, fonts, and page files reduce repeat downloads; they are not a user profile or account.
You can use your browser settings to restrict cookies, clear this site’s data, or block analytics scripts. Clearing data may cause analytics identifiers to be generated again. Restricting scripts may affect interactions such as navigation, but will not change your purchase status in the App Store.
4. App Store and app-use boundaries
Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and its only source is the App Store product page. That page is operated by Apple. Once you follow the link, page visits, account verification, payment, and purchase restoration are governed by Apple’s privacy policy and applicable terms in effect at that time.
When you visit an external page in your browser, it may send your IP address, browser information, and referral information to the destination site. This depends on your browser settings and the destination site’s policies. This site does not collect app payments or process payment credentials. For the app’s data practices, refer to the App Store privacy information and the disclosures in the app. This policy does not describe every network activity performed by the app.
5. Policy updates and questions
If the site’s data practices or features change, we will revise this policy on this page and update the last-updated month at the top. Changes involving new data collection purposes will be noted alongside the relevant feature. You can review this page again before continuing to browse.
To check how the site behaves, first review the data and permissions stored for this site in your browser settings, then see Troubleshooting or Getting Started. These pages offer guidance for review and self-checks; they are not channels for submitting personal information. The site has no personal information database and cannot use it to look up or change Apple Account details, App Store orders, or data held by service providers.
